Pamela Eisenhut was a wife, mother, and a friend to the legions of people whose lives she touched through her employment at Shifty's, Cagney's, and other fine Syracuse establishments as well as her athletic pursuits. Always excited to share her friends, family, and a few bites of whatever she was having for lunch, most importantly she would share a smile and a caring ear. Tragically Pam left us shortly after the birth of her second child. For those who knew her I needn't explain. For those who didn't I can only tell you she was a beauftiful, kind, and dynamic person. Soon afterwards, Rob Dorn, a manager at The Mission, a restaurant where our bandmate Mark Nanni played piano, also died suddenly, leaving behind another family with two young children. The best proactive response we could find to help these two families with their respective tragedies was to gather some of our musical friends. We put the call out to some of the cats who have influenced us individually, and as a band, to come together and make these recordings. These fine musicians have played venues from Carneghie Hall to the Fillmore West. From South Side Soul joints to back-country Honky Tonks, they have performed with legendary artists as diverse in style as John Lee Hooker and Johnny Cash, as well as many world class regional and local bands. They were kind enough to share their time, experience, and talents with us and we would like to thank them. We hope this recording will act as a reminder of how loved and valued Pam and Rob are to so many people.

With love and best wishes to the Dorn and Eisenhut families,
Colin Aberdeen y Los Blancos
